Welcome.

I've decided to start gathering data and writing my thoughts on subjects I’m researching, and I thought a website would be appropriate to collect my findings and share my thoughts on finance, politics, social values, and general news.

We currently live in a time when people's thoughts and opinions are overly skewed to left or right narratives as tensions build in our society. People support all types of views but can't quite grasp the reasoning behind why something is happening in the first place. The bigger picture is needed.

Why have people become so opinionated? What is special about this moment in time? Is this still an escalating situation that we're being pressured into due to the inequality people are feeling in their everyday lives?

I often think about little moments day-to-day from media stories, entertainment, social presence and conversations I have or experience around me. I look to structure my thoughts and data around these complex issues and find cohesion in all this mess.

Humans aren’t new to situations like this; history is swarming with them. Maybe we are too used to the good times, and now people are starting to feel the pressure of change without quite understanding why the situation has changed in the first place. Only the immediate actions of the Ukraine war, COVID-19, Brexit, or whatever else they feel justifies their beliefs in this situation are considered. They don’t take moments to think that maybe something else is at play.

I hope this personal journey provides some value for myself and others who are also interested and often ponder such things.

The chess game is already in motion, but understanding where we are in the game and how we got to this situation may shift our perspective and future progress.
